Harcourte Vampyre Society - A Double Release on her New Series by Morgan Kelley!

Join Eternal Connections in welcoming the newest Morgan Kelley book!

It's official, folks! Morgan Kelley has done it again.

Many fans know Ms. Kelley for her best-selling FBI series and its multiple spin-offs. But some of you may not know that before Ethan, Elizabeth, and Callen took the FBI by storm that Jolie, Jacque, and Flynn were bound by book in the Harcourte Society.

The Blood series has been re-vamped (no pun intended) and made better than ever! Those who are already familiar with our favorite vampyre couple and their human detective, will be pleased to know that the new versions have almost doubled in size!

That's twice as much love, murder, and mayhem in the Morgan Kelley world! That's a whole lot of sexy!

Hold on to your hats though kids, because not only is Dangerous Revelations now available on Amazon, but in just a few short days, on Friday, July 11th, book two, Dangerous Choices, will also be available for your sinfully delightful reading pleasure! That's almost 1000 pages to sink your teeth into.

These are the first two books in a ten book series. As of right now, Ms. Kelley is planning on releasing two a year, back-to-back, unless YOU demand otherwise. How can you get Morgan to release more than two a year, you ask? Simple. Just leave some love on Amazon once you finish reading the book! It's that simple!

*Please be advised that this series, along with all of Morgan Kelley's titles are considered "adult", and to follow the law in the state in which you live for age requirements on purchasing such titles.*

Dangerous Revelations ~ Book 1

Mistress Jolie Harcourte has lived a very long time.

She’s seen things come and go in her eight centuries, but one thing always surprises her- how humans and her kind can’t be left to their own devices.

When someone is killing humans and leaving their bodies scattered all over the town, there’s only one thing to do.

Inline image 1The right thing.

She has to help.

As an expert in deviant behavior, Jolie has volunteered to help the police solve this mess. Or, in this case, lead them astray while she ‘handles’ the situation. With her guardian by her side, she must navigate the slippery slope, that is a fine line between the truth and what goes bump in the night.

Everything seems in control until that fateful moment when she sees him.

Detective Flynn Brogan.

He’s trouble for women, and vampyres alike, but even more dangerous to the Harcourte society.

Why?

Because he’s about to find out the truth.

Now, it all comes down to trusting this man, chancing his betrayal, and catching the vampyre who’s risking them all.

One the truth is out, it can’t be bottled back up.

Dangerous Revelations are coming…

Now it’s a matter of who will survive.

“I was a fool, Jacques. I never saw what was in front of my face. Please forgive me. I can’t live without you.”
                                                ~ Jolie Harcourte

Dangerous Choices ~ Book 2

Centuries pass and yet one thing remains the same, we are predators and they are the hunted. What happens when the lines become blurred and the killers are now the only creatures who stand between humans and death?

Inline image 2

Jolie Harcourte has taken on the responsibility of protecting those that would stake her in her sleep, since she is one of the most powerful undead remaining.

Along with her mates, she has decided to stand up for humans instead of seeing them solely as food.

After being chased from Philadelphia, by a rogue vampyre, she has now moved her family to New Orleans in hopes of just surviving what is coming for them.

With Jacques protecting her, and her newly acquired human mate working for the police, they once again have found themselves between the human world and that of the undead.

More bodies are turning up in the streets and fingers are pointing right at them.

Now, it’s a matter of time before suspicion lands at their doorsteps and they once again are hunted and chased. One thing remains the same, someone has to die, but will it be them or the killers?

May the Dangerous Choices begin…

“We’re a family. It may not be conventional, Flynn, but somehow we fit together. Sometimes fate just knows…”

Eternal Connection's Morgan Kelley Lost & Broken Tour ~~Review~~

Lost & Broken

Sometimes, there is a piece of us that we never knew was lost. Other times, we know what's missing and it leaves us
feeling broken.

In the second installment of Morgan Kelley's Littlemoon Investigations series, we find our beloved private eyes embroiled in a mystery no one saw coming - including the team investigating.

The Littlemoons meet with a woman who is looking for a family bible. But this isn't just any family bible. It's the one that will prove that she is a long lost, and illegitimate, relative to a wealthy Kentucky family. She offers to help them go undercover as wealthy couples visiting the haunted estate of the family in question.

Tori, Julian, Kane, and Christina think that this is going to be a fun and easy job. They get an all expenses paid trip to the Kentucky Derby, posing as wealthy couples looking for some fun. Their hosts have no idea that they're really there looking for the family bible that little more than legend after all of these years.

Can the team find a book that the family themselves can't find in their very own house?

Well, they can certainly try!

What they didn't expect, was for them to become involved in also trying to figure out who is haunting the farm, and why. Especially since none of them believed in the ghost prior to their arrival. Afterwards though, well, that's a different story.

Ghosts, secret passages, rival private investigators, and yes, MURDER, lead the Littlemoon team to realizing that there is much more to this case than they originally anticipated.

Who is haunting the halls? What happened to her? Where is the bible? Who is the lost relative? Why is the bible worth killing over?

These are all questions that will have you furiously flipping the pages so that you can get the answers!

I have to say, I've been a fan of Morgan Kelley for a long time. I absolutely ADORE her books. They are funny, sad, thrilling, and sexy. And I can almost always figure it out within the last few chapters.

UH UH. Not this time! I was absolutely BLINDSIDED!

I love the way she weaves the tale of lies and deceit in such a way you have no idea that everything you believe to be true in the books, isn't at all what is seems!

Lost & Broken

Book Two in the Littlemoon series

They say you don’t pick your cases when you’re a private investigator, they pick you.
Well, that’s exactly what has happened for the Littlemoons. Since closing the biggest case of their careers, in the private sector, the jobs are pouring in.
Now, they just have to pick and choose.
The next case seems easy, almost too good to be true.
All they have to do is find a missing bible with a hidden birth certificate.
How hard can that be? It’s an all-expense paid trip to the Derby, and a once in a lifetime opportunity.
As the team arrives on the scene, of a famous Kentucky farm known for its ghostly haunting, it’s a lot more dangerous than it seems. Someone’s out to make a killing, and they don’t care who gets caught in the crossfire.
Lost books.
Stolen lives.
And things that go bump in the night.
It all means one thing.
Julian, Tori, Kane and Christina have to stay one step ahead of the person willing to kill, or the team too will have something in common with the spirit haunting the place.

They’ll find themselves Lost & Broken

                          ~Prologue~
                                       Kentucky
                                   Hesser Plantation
                                  Nineteen Fourteen

God! She couldn’t handle the creaking anymore. It was beginning to drive her absolutely insane. If she didn't know any better, she would think that the house was haunted.

How was that even possible?

There was just no way.

Hesser Plantation wasn't that old, so there shouldn’t be anything creaking or groaning. No one died here, so how could they have a ghost?

Climbing out of their bed, she crept as quietly as possible to the cradle. Once there, she stared down at the little baby sleeping safely inside.

He was her pride and joy.

Her only son.

Gently tucking him back in, she glanced over to the now vacant bed. At one time, she would enjoy coming here to sleep. Now, that wasn’t true. When her husband lost his favorite little piece of fluff, he became almost unbearable. It was as if he blamed her for the trollup running away.

Who knew that he had so much of an attachment to the little whore he bedded in his free time? Maybe if she was a chambermaid, he might actually see and pay attention to her once more.

The most astounding part was that as of yet, her husband hadn’t replaced his mistress. Certainly, he should be able to do it without much effort. After all, she was nothing more than a local girl who worked in their scullery cleaning up after their family, and tending the bedrooms.

What he even saw in that blonde piece of trash, she had no idea. Her parents barely spoke in complete sentence as they toiled away in the fields. How he could ever even be attracted to her, appalled and astounded her. It had to be the fact that she’d open her legs for any rich man who passed her by.

Well, she had news for her. The man of this house wouldn’t be divorcing his high society wife to shack up with some waste of skin and bones.

Unfortunately though, now that she was gone, he was miserable as sin. Thankfully, he had taken the time out of his busy fornicating life to impregnate his wife. At least now she had a rightful heir to their family fortune. Her future was ensured the second a son was born into the Hesser family.

She did what no one else had rightfully done. She’d given him a legitimate child to carry his name and bloodline.

Kudos for her.

Then, anger filled her. When she had found that the little trollup was pregnant with her husband’s child, she wanted to retch. No, she wanted to grab her greasy blonde hair and bash her head off the floor that she scrubbed. Well, fortunately for everyone involved, that situation was handled. It wasn’t hard to scare the little piece of trash into submission. The night that baby was born, it was taken and sent off.

There would be no Hesser child unless it was born from her womb. If drastic measures needed to be taken, so be it.

Thankfully, the girl’s parents were upset that their daughter had disgraced herself by getting pregnant by a married man. Once they found out, that was easily rectified. They were wise enough to know that their daughter committed an unforgivable sin. A few choice words, and they realized that her loose morals could cost them everything. When she showed up with the sheriff to terrorize them, it didn't take much. It was funny, since she would have bought the child, just to sell it off to someone in a foreign country.

Yes, that was how angry she was.

To add to it all, her husband wasn’t even told that she had given birth. The family promised the little whore would stay away and keep her mouth shut.

Or else.

That was the part she liked best. If the family wanted to lose their land, their oxen, and asses, it could be brought to fruition.

Little did he know, that this was all for the best. It wasn’t like her husband was the only one the trollup was sleeping with. Rumor around the house was that she had tried to bed her husband’s brother and cousin too. Unfortunately, he was the weaker man, unable to keep his dick in his pants. Had she known that he was like this before she married him, there never would have been a wedding.

Who was she kidding?

That almost made her laugh out loud.

Her husband was the wealthiest bastard in Kentucky. She would have married him anyway. Allowing him to have his little side pieces was fine with her. It meant less time that she had to tolerate his voracious sexual habits.

Thankfully, he managed to give them a son. At least she could look past having to sleep with him because of that. Even after thinking it, there was a little piece of her that mourned their marriage. She was stupid to believe all the sweet words he had once whispered in her ear when they were courting.

Stupid.

Stupid.

Stupid.

Moving back to their bed, she once more heard the sound. Since she was alone, it terrified her. It sounded like weeping.

But how could that be?

The hired help lived downstairs or in the other building, so no one was in the rooms surrounding hers. This floor was exclusively for her and the man of the house. The private wing was off limits to anyone but them.
Walking to the balcony, she stared out at the plantation that was legally half hers. They had an empire here, and she was damn glad. It was perfect, and that’s the way she liked it. In her life, there could be no distractions to ruin it. Some might call her ambitious, but she knew the truth. Love brought her into this marriage, but business made her stay.

She just wouldn’t have it any other way.

Yet, that was another lie. She would trade it all to go back in time to when he loved her.

Really, truly loved her.

Again, she heard the noise but this time, it sounded like singing. No one would dare be making noise at this time of night near their room. If they woke the baby, they would be immediately terminated.

Glancing around, she listened to the sound and prayed that he would come home. Even if he was drunk, it would mean that she wasn’t going to have to be there alone. Sometimes you needed to take the lesser of the two evils in life.

Every evening, after the trollup’s disappearance, the house scared her. It seemed to come alive with some noise. In her mind, she knew that was impossible. There had to be a rational reason. Possibly the grand plantation was settling. All the new wood was finding its final resting place, or maybe she was a witch and cursed them before she left.

There were no such things as ghosts, and yet, she swore that she had seen one. Not face to face, but from the corner of her eye.

It was always in passing.

It seemed to speculatively watch her. Wherever she would go, or take the baby, the spirit would follow.

A cool breeze wafted in through the window, blowing the sheer curtains around. They appeared to be hands, reaching for her. In fact, the cold icy touch caressed her skin and gave her goose bumps.
It was June, and it shouldn’t be this chilly.

Then, she heard the laughter and knew she wasn’t alone. There was someone there with her. She could feel the malevolent eyes watching her.

Spinning around, she scanned the room and finally picked up the sight, albeit diminished by the lack of light in the room. What she saw scared and terrified her. The cradle, untouched by human hands, began rocking. It swayed as if someone was standing beside it and lovingly tending to the sleeping babe.

Her heart began pounding.

Not her child!

Her job as a mother was to guard her babe at any cost!

There was more laughter, and then the gentle sound of a lullaby being sung. It was one which she remembered all too well. It was the same dreaded melody which his mistress sang to her newborn child, just before it was taken away. It spoke of love and holding onto the child forever.

This couldn’t be.

She was gone.

The whore had run away!

It had been handled by her personally!
Much like it started, the song stopped without warning. In its place were the horrible wails of her child, calling out in some kind of agony. Every mother knew her child’s cries, and something was hurting her little angel.

The babe continued to wail, and the sounds pierced the night, shattering the silence. If she hadn’t been standing there, she would assume the child was in distress. The wails were becoming muffled, as if someone were placing the blanket over his face, trying to smother him in his sleep.

She needed to act!

No one could hurt her only reason to live.

Rushing to his side, she scooped him up in her arms and held him protectively against her body.

“You can’t have my son!” she screamed, holding her baby as if she were the only thing that stood between
him and the end of his life.

There was more laughter, but it morphed, turning evil and malevolent.

“Leave my house! You’re not welcome here!” she demanded, as her son screamed at the top of his lungs.

The gentle caress on the back of her neck made her gasp in horror, as the cold fingers touched her flesh.

“Go away! What do you want?”

The laughter exploded around her as the curtains whipped in an angry invisible wind, found only in her bedchamber. It was as if they were reaching for her, and she was forced to take a step back to save them both.

“I want my revenge,” the voice whispered, and then like it began, it suddenly ended.
No trace remained.

The room calmed.

There was peace.

She carried her son to the bed and stared down into his precious face. The screams had ended, and she was thankful. He stared up at her with tear filled eyes, blinking and trying to focus on the calming voice above him.

“It’s okay, my little love. No one is going to hurt you. Momma is here, and I’ll die to keep you safe.”

He stared up at her with his father’s eyes, and immediately began sucking on his fingers to sooth the fear he had been feeling.

“You’re safe,” she reassured, kissing him on his soft baby skin.

When the bed creaked, her heart began pounding in her chest. She could see the imprint of something
moving across the flat duvet. Then, there was breath on her skin and a whisper in her ear.
It had her full attention.

“No, he’s not safe,” came the hushed voice. “He’s going to be mine.”

This time, it was her screams that filled the night.

Eternal ~ Contest

Okay.

I need a little help with my Eternal series.

Comment on what you think Sebastian should be the god of. I will choose which one I like best, as well as which will fit the books and short stories the best. The winner will receive a FREE ebook of Eternal Beginnings when it's done (only three chapters left to write and some editing)!

Background on Sebastian:

Sebastian is the son of Katricne, the goddess of time (who is responsible for time of death - she predetermines when someone is destined to die - but not how or why) and Tobias, the King of Vampires. He has a twin sister Maya, who is the goddess of the unholy.

He has high morals and has never killed an innocent in all his 2000+ years. Sebastian has the role of he enforcer on The Council, which is responsible for keeping demons in line so that they remain in the shadows to be nothing more than a myth to humanity.

Sebastian is the focus of the third book, Eternal Chance, so I've provided the cover so you can have a visual!

Morgan Kelley

Review by Tara Cross

In this book by Author Morgan Kelley, we are introduced to Elizabeth LaRue. She’s a fallen angel of the FBI, who has returned home after a life altering incident. Once home, she takes over the position of Sheriff that her father had once held until his death.

While in Salem, as sheriff there are a string of odd murders that pique her interest. Slowly as they unfold, Elizabeth finds out they stretch back to before her father’s death.

Salem has a killer.

The sleepy southern town is rocked to its core, that one of their own is killing women to mimic the Salem witch trials. Each method is different, but the same thing is common throughout. Someone is hell bent on taking lives and tormenting Elizabeth.

In comes the FBI, and sexy Special Agent Ethan Blackhawk. From the minute they meet, the sparks fly and the two become a hot and heavy romance. As their love progresses, the killer is more determined to kill the only person that can stop him.

Elizabeth.

Before the end of the book, everything in Elizabeth’s life is questioned, turned upside down and risked.

I really enjoyed this novel. It was an easy ready, but still made you wonder who the killer was until the end. The author peppered it with clues and pointed you in the right direction. She made it fun and enjoyable from the first page to the last.  This reminded me of a beach read. It was just under 400 pages and kept me interested the entire time.

The sex scenes were heartfelt, meaningful and steamy. By the end I wanted to change my name and be Elizabeth.

The mix of humor, entertainment and thriller were well balanced and you honestly started to believe that Elizabeth could be one of your girlfriends, with her quick wit, funny comebacks and genuine heart.

All in all, this was an excellent first book to kick off the series. There was just enough character development to make me want to continue the series.

Fire Burns Hot (Book 5 FBI/Romance Series) ~ Morgan Kelley

Hey there all!

Thank you all for joining me today! I’ve recently released my next book in the FBI/Romance series, and K.C. Cavanaugh was kind enough to have me here today to talk about it!

Writing this book was an adventure from start to finish. I truly love watching their development and how they are slowly changing, blending and growing from the first thoughts created in my mind a year ago.

Fire Burns Hot is the fifth novel, continuing the story of Elizabeth (Blackhawk), Ethan (Blackhawk) and Callen (Whitefox). A great deal has happened in their lives as their journey has progressed, and with this book, they’re faced with another serial killer hell-bent on taking the lives of women he deems unworthy. The unusual ‘couple’ is faced with the normal relationship issues, only magnified by their unique situation.  We the readers get a voyeuristic look at the ins and outs of not only their lives in the FBI, but as they struggle to balance their personal connection amidst complete and total bedlam!

In the FBI/Romance series, we also get to meet along the way the characters around Elizabeth and her men. I like to toss in the development of another couple to add some fun to the mix. Each book builds on the world of FBI West and the people that work there.  In Fire Burns Hot, we’re further introduced to Julian Littlemoon and Special Agent Victoria Christensen. In the last book, we got a sneak peak into their lives and were left wondering what happened to them. Did they come together? Did she walk away? This book answers so many of the questions that wanted answered. In Fire Burns Hot, we get the privilege to watch their relationship blossom, and possibly derail before it ever gets off the ground.

This book is all about justice, the chaos of a fire bug with a woman complex, and the belief that that in the end – Love will save the day.

I truly hope you enjoy this novel as much as I enjoyed writing it!

~Prologue~

Women should be cherished as a gift from the gods. Soft skin, long silky hair and bodies meant to bring men hours of pleasure. In life, there were few things that could drive a man to madness and women were at the top of the list.

That’s why he killed them.

Yes, he should treat them like the fairer sex and worship at the temple of their bodies, but for him they just didn’t matter. Once you’ve had one woman, they all blended together. In fact, nothing made them stand out to him, except the end of their lives. That he’d remember without a doubt. When the life was ripped away and the empty shell remained, battered and bruised, he would save it deep in his mind.

Death was only one thing that called to him.

Madness was in the eye of the beholder in his case. In his mind, there was nothing wrong with purchasing a woman, getting her to do whatever you wanted, and then dispose of her like trash. All the women he found were lowly whores, selling their bodies and souls to the men that they courted for the almighty dollar. Why should they matter to him, when they obviously didn’t matter to themselves.

A whore was a whore even in her dying moments.

He stood over her on the bed in the cheap motel, smiling down at the very dead eyes. The irony was that alive, they held the same exact stare. Nothing had changed since her heart had stopped beating.

Eyes told the tale and were the windows to the soul. Hers said a great deal of the woman inside.

They were empty.

Cold and vacant.

Now in death they still told the same story of a prostitute that was used up and enjoyed it. When he found her on the street, it was just too easy to follow her back to her flop and get what he wanted. Sex with her was easy. She wasn’t interested in getting off. All she needed was the cash to pay her pimp, and then get her drug fix. To dull her pain, all it took was a smile, a wad of money and need.
When she offered herself to him by leaning in his car window, he just knew.

She was the one.

Because it was her time to die.

Soon the endless pain living in her would vanish.

Everything about this one was perfect. All his requirements were met. No one would miss her, she was willing to have sex, and then there was his favorite part…

The hair.

Nothing called to him more than the silky waves. God, he had a thing for a slut with long tresses. Not because he enjoyed it running across his body during sex, but when he lit them on fire it mattered. Nothing was more fascinating to watch than the hair shriveling, as the flames licked at them wickedly. Then you had the smell.

Oh, the delicious smell of burning woman with lovely hair.

It was so perverse, and yet so damn perfect.

Something so primitive called to him when he thought about it. The first time he killed, it made him throw up, as he was racked with guilt, but now… oh, it made him stronger. It fueled him through his next rendezvous with the following worthless woman. It wasn’t lost on him, even in his madness, that each kill was more vile than the last. Where it was leading him, he didn’t know. But it pushed him on and made him want more and more death. The longing was unquenchable, and he was addicted to the power.

He was the self-proclaimed God of whores.

It was delicious to use the women, knowing they wouldn’t see the next day. Their lives were over and forfeited at his hand.

So far, no one had even noticed them missing. It simply proved what he’d believed all along.
Whores were expendable

No one cared what happened to the unloved women of the streets. Their destroyed, charred flesh was simply bagged and tagged. Bodies were carted off to the morgue to be housed, until someone who cared showed up.

He laughed at that thought. No one cared enough to love them while they lived. Why bother when they were a burnt hunk of meat?

In his opinion women were disposable, and he planned on using them and tossing them away.
Combining the destitute dregs of the street with the power of fire was absolute bliss.

By taking his love of the flame, mixing it with the destruction of the wanton flesh, he’d achieved nirvana. It was the most beautiful art to watch unfold, telling the ultimate story.

Glee filled him, as it destroyed the body so much, that the Medical Examiner and coroner had a hard time finding the truth. It was the perfect medium to commit the crime.

Whores didn’t really get medical attention or leave a paper trail, and that’s why he picked them to be his unwilling victims.

Why concern yourself with women of the night?

He didn’t.

Placing her body in just the right spot on the bed, he artfully arranged her hair. It was a gorgeous shade of blonde, and to his delight, he found natural. His fingers combed through it, anticipating what was to come. Closing her very dead eyes, he began pouring the accelerant across her naked flesh.
He looked around the room making sure there was nothing left behind that would tie him to the woman. As he took the last look, his heart pounded in his chest at the sheer beauty of what was to come. Her death would be cleansing.

This time he couldn’t stay and watch, because the Motel was a public place. The next time though, he planned on taking the girl somewhere more secluded. A place that would be just theirs.

Like the last one whose life he stole. Part of him was sad that he couldn’t stay until the bitter sweet end. It was part of the enjoyment to smell the burning skin, the shriveling hair, and the putrid destruction of the human form.

Alas, there was a reason he couldn’t remain. Each time he was forced to change it up, so the cops wouldn’t have a clue on how to find him. As of yet they didn’t even have a suspect in the killings. The tally was now four, and already he knew who he wanted for the next woman.

There was this sweet little redhead that he found at the strip club. She was destined to be his. All it would take is a promise of cash, and she’d do all he asked, willingly.

He pondered her perspective. Would the redhead now think she was still sexy, as the fire began eating away at her flesh? As the skin charred black with carbon, would she want men to see her? Would it all be worth selling herself, as her beautiful tresses melted and filled the air with vile smoke? Would there be repentance for her foul existence, even in her last few moments as she met her maker?
Possibly he’d have to keep her alive to ask and get the answers he curiously sought.

Already he was getting excited in more ways than one.

Dropping the match, he walked out the door. The whole place was going to go up like kindling in minutes. By the time they found her, she’d be nothing more than a pile of ash in the ruins of a sleazy motel.

As he closed the door and walked to his car, he whistled a happy tune. Now he’d go home and dream about what he just did, and begin planning for the next girl.

Pulling out of the parking lot, he glanced back to observe the flames flicker at the one window of the seedy room. In his mind he could visualize her hair curling under the heat and her body cooking on the cheap bedding.

It all seemed fitting.

God, he loved fire and women. The combination of them both made him all hot and bothered. He accelerated and reveled in the power coursing through his body.

Soon there’d be another and another...

Life was a beautiful thing.

If you were the predator and not the prey.

Two Weeks Later

The sex with this one was mediocre at best, but the killing made up for everything the intercourse lacked. This one fought hard. Like a little wild cat, going hard into her demise.

He’d had his doubts, as he used her body to find release. The woman seemed so cold and dead inside, but then the fire came out.

Once she knew the truth about what was going to happen to her, she fought hard to live.

His plan was to ask her why, but as she scratched and kicked at him to escape, anger took control. In the end, he stole from her the last vestige of life.

During it all something was made blatantly clear. It was so much more gratifying when they fought. This was something he needed to consider for the next one. Using her was one thing, but finding himself ready for another round just after her struggles called to something in him. Apparently, he’d need to consider adding this to his ritual.

Some might call it depravity, but he called it delicious release.

He smiled as his hands did the dirty work, strangling every breath from her recently used body. A couple times he stopped the killing to use her again and again, only to ultimately choke life from her already prone form.

In his mind he could completely rationalize it all. This one deserved to die by his hands. He wasn’t planning on taking a woman that night. It was more of a mission to find the next one, but this one came to him. After a few lap dances that barely monopolized his time, she’d been foolish to follow him out of the strip club for the offer of more money. When she offered herself up, he took it as a sign.

In his book stupidity had its price.

DEATH!

Isn't that what he heard his whole damn life? If you did something unwise, you paid dearly. Well, being a greedy whore was pretty damn ignorant.

He carefully arranged her body, not that it would matter. Once the fire began heating the flesh and muscles, they’d constrict and she’d take on a horrible form. That took a while, so until then he’d entertain himself with the more gratifying aspects of the kill.

The dead look on her face.

The smell of flesh sizzling in the flames.

The subcutaneous fat oozing through the cracks in the skin that bubbled, adding fuel to the fire.
Lighting the match, he actually laughed out loud with perverse giddiness. Dropping it onto the body, he stepped back to watch his handiwork. The fire engulfed the whore’s clothing and then began to lick at her flesh. Bubbles formed as the skin blistered before charring. They spread wickedly, as the fire found its path the top of her head. The brown hair lost its color, as it was swallowed by the flames. It curled and shriveled under the heat, giving off its distinctive odor.

He shuddered with extreme pleasure at the way her body responded to the rising temperature. It bowed and already began its fiery dance. Muscles began constricting and skin went taut.

Her mouth slowly opened, as if screaming in some silent horror. Begging for someone to help and save her from the destructive heat.

Oh, how he wished he could stay here and watch the police find his latest victim.

But he knew that couldn’t happen.

It was time to go, and he derived all the pleasure he could from this one.

Walking away from the woman, he bid her adieu, thanking her for the good time. It would be part of his recollections forever.

The final task was scan the ground, assuring he had all his things. Climbing into the vehicle and driving away, there was hope that she’d be found sooner, rather than later.

“Goodbye,” he whispered to the already deaf ears.
Now it was time to go home, sleep off this high, and start looking for the next piece of ass he’d be adding to his little collection of memories.

There was nothing he loved more than a trashy woman going up in flames.

Nothing

About Morgan Kelley
I’m a normal girl in a small town. I spend my days living in made up worlds of killers and lovers. It’s a dream come true.

When I’m not writing, I’m spending my time running, getting tattooed, or digging in my garden. I have a love of bacon, flora and fauna and of course a book with a ‘happily ever after’ ending.

I’m really just the girl next door- if she loved guns, killing people, and hiding the bodies for hours and hours of entertainment.

It’s a dirty job, but someone has to do it…
